FAQs

First time? Here's what to expect.

Nervous is normal. These are the questions first-time clients ask most. Anything else, just ask Lucy.

What happens at my first appointment?

It starts with a relaxed chat about your skin, your goals and your medical history. Lucy assesses your skin, explains what she would and wouldn't recommend, and gives you a clear plan with prices. There's no pressure to have anything done on the day.

Am I too young to start?

Not at all. Prevention is about looking after healthy skin, not fixing problems. For many first-timers the right start is simple: better skincare or a gentle skin treatment. Lucy will tell you honestly if you don't need anything yet.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe a mild, brief discomfort rather than pain. Numbing cream is used where suitable, and Lucy talks you through each step so nothing is a surprise. You can pause at any time.

Will it look natural?

That's the whole approach. Lucy works with your features, using small, gradual changes. The aim is for people to say you look well rested, not that you've had something done.

Is there any downtime?

It depends on the treatment. Some leave you ready to go straight back to work; others can cause redness or mild swelling for a few days. You'll know exactly what to expect before you book, and you'll leave with written aftercare.

Who will treat me, and is it safe?

Every appointment is with Lucy, a critical care nurse who has also nursed on private superyachts. She is fully insured with PolicyBee, works in a clean clinical setting in Kings Cross, and will only recommend treatment if it's right for you.
